The collection and cataloging of the stories requires continual effort and energy. Many of our community partners serve populations that do not have access to the internet such as women in prison, Senior citizens, teenage mothers and women in shelters. In order for these women’s voices to be heard, we have conducted writing and art workshops that have allowed them to tell their stories. It is amazing how important women, from all walks of life, feel by sharing their story with someone who listens and cares.
